Roadmap Early Access

Mary · August 6, 2026 · 5 min read

Thank you to every user who tried Omniarole, tested it, and shared precious feedback (unfortunately many of you wrote in private messages, which often ended up redundant, so we invite you to join our Discord channel).

After so many months of work, starting long before the Early Access release, we are taking a well-earned pause to rest our minds and our fingers. With this blog post we want to share the roadmap we had planned for the duration of Early Access.

  1. 01Public release of version 1.3 in Early Access
  2. 02Gallery
  3. 03Bestiary
  4. 04Timelines
  5. 05Community Worlds
  6. 06D&D 5e templates
  7. 07Maps
  8. 08Relationships
  9. 09D&D SRD Compendium
  10. 10Dice Roller
  11. 11Player Sheet
  12. 12Summer pauseNow
  13. 13Omniarole marketing promotion
  14. 14VTT
  15. 15End of Early Access

After the summer break: marketing campaign and polish

Once the summer break is over, we want to invest in marketing, with the goal of bringing more and more people to know about our project.

During this period we will put more weight on community support (only the feedback we receive on the Discord server), providing fixes for possible bugs and layout improvements (both desktop and mobile) guided by your feedback.

We have already commissioned artwork from real artists (no AI) to place across the platform.

We will also ship the translation work we are carrying forward into Spanish and French.

Next major build: the VTT module

Once this stabilization and community-testing moment is behind us, we will move on to developing the VTT module. Today it exists only in alpha and is not available. In the future it may open to Patreon supporters first, until it is officially released in the production version of the platform.

When the VTT is live: the end of Early Access

When the VTT is online and past its testing phase, the Early Access period will end. From that point, every account on the Trial tier will have a limited duration, the same normal rule that will apply to the first people who register on the site. Before that window closes, each user can decide whether to stay on the Basic level, move to Premium, or choose Premium + AI to also use the tools we provide separately.

Thank you for being with us through the crunch, the releases, and everything still ahead. Rest now, keep the feedback coming on Discord when we are back, and we will keep building Omniarole with the community at the center.
